The Stockport Metro Indoor Bowling League held the Bernie Fennell & Mike Biggs Trophy Semi Finals & Finals on Sunday 2nd March at Etherow Indoor Bowling Centre.
In the semi final of the Bernie Fennell Trophy our Woodley Sports A team played Davenport GC A, Woodley A overcame a very good Davenport team to win 60 – 37. In the other semi final Poynton Sports A beat Davenport GC B 59 – 53.
it was a very close encounter in the final, Woodley A v Poynton A finishing in a draw 48 – 48. This meant each pair Had to play an extra two ends, Woodley A won 12- 7.5
