Today saw 12 junior Crown Green County teams come together to play against each other in a six aside format CGBA competition. They were competing to determine who will go through to the finals competition in July, and Woodley Sports are proud to report that three of our very own junior players were part of the action representing Cheshire and Greater Manchester. The youngsters played incredibly well against a tough field of competition, and whilst full details of which teams will go on to the finals aren’t yet available, we know that at least one of the Cheshire teams have made it through after winning all of their rounds and scoring the maximum six points.
We’re very proud of our young bowlers and it’s fantastic to see them playing so well and flying the flag high for our club and and for our County, they certainly have every reason to be proud of how they played and conducted themselves today.
