As part of our annual calendar of activities, the Crown Green club merit away day is always a member favourite and this year it was hailed by attendees as having been the best one yet! Our members had the luxury of bowling on two superb greens at Owley Wood Recreation Club in Northwich and every one of them thoroughly enjoyed the day.
The event saw members split into a mens and ladies competition with those losing in the first round being drawn into random pairs to play against each other in a consolation competition. There were some very close games during the day and lots of fun, laughter and food. The finalists from each competition were:
